Hello lovelies and Happy Winter! I still can’t believe that I’m living in the U.K, and I must admit that I’m going a little crazy over here with all the products and clothing. I love discovering new brands, and having an opportunity to buy them, especially when they’re on sale! I’m all about those bargains while looking glam.
So one night I decided to drag the Fiance with me on a product stock up at Boots. Now, while looking for what I needed to buy I stumbled across something that surprised me and that is this gorgeous Lip tint trio by Ted Baker London. Currently Ted Baker’s makeup isn’t sold in North America (Even though we do have Ted Baker stores in Canada and The US). I’ve been wanting to own something by Ted Baker, and this isn’t exactly what I thought would be a first time purchase.
I won’t try to cover this up, but yes, this “Pouting Petals” Lip Tint Trio collection caught my eye because of the packaging. I always applaud companies for their beautiful packaging and design skills. Now the casing is a cardboard rose gold and pink bow that gives off a whimsical, flirty, and girly vibe,
So as I threw this into my shopping basket I was also hoping that I’d love my new purchase. Because let’s face it I didn’t only buy this for the packaging, but to see if the products within will suffice and be used for an upcoming event at the Fiance’s Medical School.
Upon opening the rose gold bow I found three beautiful- romantic lip tint colours: pink, nude and red. These colours are classic, and look beautiful on. The product itself comes in rose gold metal tubes that have cute details with a T logo on the tube’s cap, and Ted Baker’s name can be found on the middle of the lip tint’s case. These tints are compact enough to throw into a small evening clutch, and look beautiful if you’re to pull them out for re-application. They have a lovely, scent reminiscent of chocolate? Well, what can I say Ted Baker knows how to pay attention to the details.
Aesthetically pleasing to the eye
As for products wear, this lip tint will not last all night long if you’re eating, or drinking all night, but once again this is a lip tint and not a lipstick. And, I know I will need to get my hands on a Lipstick soon enough just to see the comparison (okay maybe I’m obsessing over Ted Baker’s makeup). The Lip tints are still beautiful on, they apply easily, and the formula feels both creamy and smooth leaving lips feeling hydrated without a feeling of tacky/ stickiness that lip products can fall victim too.
So lovelies if you’re looking to gift someone with something glam and luxurious, or gift yourself give these Ted Baker products a try, I do see a future for Ted Baker in the makeup/ designer crossover world. I’m a little obsessed, and definitely would buy and try more- as these also make for great souvenirs from my time being in the U.K . Well that about wraps up this post until next time!
